- My grampa lived till he was 99.

- I grew up in the Ottawa Valley… lads.

- I think kids are hilarious.

- I write with my right hand but do everything else with my left.

- I’m currently learning to type properly.

- Cats scare me a bit and I’m not sure why.

Why choose a professional photographer

It’s you wedding and undoubtedly the most important occasion in your life! So you’ve ensured that you’ve got the best of everything. Right from the destination wedding to the designer gown, cordon bleu food et al. But if haven’t hired, a good professional photographer who could freeze these moments for you to cherish, the rest of your life, you haven’t done anything!

Yes, you’re Uncle Bob or Aunt Martha or Cousin Steve was good at photography and it does sound tempting when they offer it for free! But Uncle Bob or Cousin Steve cannot be a match for the professional skills of wedding photographers. They are trained to get the best shot out of every situation.

Wedding photography is considered to be one of the most difficult of all photography. It’s challenging as well, as the wedding photographer is not only required to be proficient in multiple disciplines of photography, but also should be sharp and quick enough to freeze every precious moment. This is one field where you can’t afford a reshoot, if things go wrong.

Your friends or family members would lack these skills. Besides they would anyways be taking photos of the wedding.

Your wedding photographer would be updated on the latest techniques and styles in wedding photography, while your Cousin Steve would bank on the photography workshop that he attended a few years ago to help him with photography techniques.

A wedding photographer would also have the advantage of experience. An average wedding photographer would shoot anywhere from 30 to 50(sometimes even more) weddings in a year. He would have shot for weddings across destinations, from churches, backyards, castles, ballrooms, beaches and even parks. A professional wedding photographer would be well aware that expecting the unexpected is very much a common thing in weddings and can stand up to situation’s like un co-operative lighting conditions etc. They would have spent on the best equipments like multiple pro camera bodies, and would have an exhaustive collective of lenses, flashes, battery packs and other peripherals. It’s hard to imagine your cousin Steve spending on any of these. He would have knowledge about the latest image editing software and would have attended workshops and competitions that highlight image perfection, blemish removal, enhancing the use of colors and contrast etc. If budget is what you are wary about, you could compromise on other things than compromise on a photographer

Why risk your wedding photos with amateur cousins and friends, when you could hire a professional wedding photographer who would ensure that your special day remains special forever
